A New Beginning

Hi World -

I had originally set this blog up about a year ago, and then promptly forgot about it. Oops.

Anyway - I've made my way back, so I figured I'd start over. That said - please forgive the title. It wasn't meant as a Star Wars tribute, although why not jump on the band wagon while it's around.

So, to refresh anyone who might have seen the measly post or two that used to exist here, this is simply a forum for me to ramble on a little about whatever might be on my tiny mind each day. It may not be much, and may not be pretty, but hopefully it should be good for a laugh or two.

Before I go much further, I'll give you the condensed bio:

I'm in my (late) 30s, single, and live in LA. I'm a recovering journalist who now works as a copywriter for a company called Tiltware, which is the consultant to the best online poker site around - www.fulltiltpoker.com. As an avid poker player, there's no cooler place to be. And if working here improves my game and, hopefully, bank account, that's even better.

Before landing here, I bounced around quite a bit here in LA and up in Silicon Valley where I worked for a variety of tech companies, including Quicken.com. Additionally, I'm still working on the great - or even passable - American screenplay, and have yet to give up my status as a struggling screenwriter.

That's probably enough to get you started. I'm sure you'll learn more about me as this blog goes on - if I remember to write.
